The location of this place was stunning, as it was close to everything and offered spectacular views of a tranquil lake and Hohensalzburg castle along with other attractions.

The property's location is stunning, next to a castle that is vibrant with history, the main building-palace and an even better one, with a side-view of the palace and lake. Would stay here again and again, thoroughly enjoyed our delightful stay here.

Very romantic place, wonderful scenery, you feel in the middle of nature, altough you are so close to the city center; the breakfast is great, rooms are cosy and the staff very welcoming; you can rent bikes and have a beautiful stroll around the lake and the suburbs; visiting the castle is quite an experience for all Sound of music fans.

The rooms are very clean, tidy, and have soft down pillows.

The room is equipped with air conditioning, comfortable beds, climate control, a main sleeping area, and an ironing set, making it a pleasant stay.

The location is excellent for the relaxation and breath-taking since it lies on the Leopoldskronlake and Leopoldskron palace. The breakfast in the Leopoldskron place is a value added and advantage.

Old dated furniture and needs to be renovated. No free internet is available in the room.

We had two beds instead of a large single bed which is uncomfortable. Tv is tiny too.

I enjoyed the fact that we were allowed to visit the grounds and the interiors of the schloss Leopolskon next door. The breakfast in the castle was also fantastic!

The interiors and the furniture in our room were a little outdated. Considering the access to the great and majestic castle it would be nice if the meierhof annexe was better decorated. Cheap laminated pictures, outdated curtains, plain white painted walls could easily be improved imo. Maybe a little sound of music decoration (ex. Pictures of the filming on the ground, etc...). a lot of tourists choose this hotel because of the movie. Aside from that, the pros are higher than the cons

The rooms are beautiful, historical, decent in size, and offer a view. the staff is extremely friendly and excellent, as they smile all the time. the hotel is located near the old downtown "Mozart" areas, making it an amazing location.

The breakfast was wonderful with a lot of products. Our rooms were neat and contemporary with coffee and a big bathroom, as for instance. Location: the hotel was next to the restaurant, the original fortress which offers magnificent views of old town Salzburg, and a clear lake.
